Dr. John L. Green
In early 2005, a number of my associates
and friends discussed the services being
provided by other associations serving the
50 plus community. We knew there was a
need for an organization with a different
approach – an organization attuned to
traditional American values like faith, family,
and freedom. Americans50Plus was born.
Americans50Plus is a not-for-profit
corporation
that promotes the well being of citizens and
permanent residents of the United States who
are fifty years plus.
We achieve our goal by providing access to quality personal
services
and insurance products. We offer insight into public
policy
issues
that affect the 50+ community. Our real strength
is in knowing
that our
members want a better America for our
children and
grandchildren.

Dr. John L. Green is chairman of the board for
Americans50Plus.
He was founding president of the International
Assembly for
Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) in Overland
Park, Kansas.
Additionally, he founded the Association of
Collegiate Business
Schools and Programs (ACBSP). He served
Washburn University
in Topeka as president for 7 years. He has
also served as senior
vice president of the University of
Houston system, executive vice
president of the University of
Miami, vice president of Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute, and
vice president of the University of
Georgia.
Altogether, John
has over 45 years of experience in
higher
education. He is a
proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having
served
during the Korean
conflict.
Dr. Green received his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi
State
University, his master’s from Wayne State University
(Detroit),
and his Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
He is listed
in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Finance and
Industry,
and Who’s Who in the World.
